Truly sealed, or your money back.
Every box you buy from Kaikan is official Pokémon TCG, Japanese or Chinese edition, and factory sealed. You get photos of your own box with the shipping confirmation. If it turns out not to be genuine or not sealed after all, you get everything back, including shipping costs. That's the whole deal.

How the Seal Guarantee works

Every delivery checked, box by box
When it arrives in Beugen, we inspect every box: is the factory wrap tight, is the seam under the wrap right, is the logo in the wrap, does the JAN barcode belong to the set and does it weigh what a box from that set should weigh. We take photos of every box, stored under its own stock number. If anything is off, that box is set aside and not sold.

Photos of your box with the shipping confirmation
With the shipping confirmation, you get the photos of the copy that's going to you: the wrap, the seams and the JAN barcode. Complete cases ship directly from the supplier to you, factory sealed; we don't take photos of those in advance, but the Seal Guarantee applies to them in full.

Pickup in Beugen is free and by appointment. You inspect the box on the spot, wrap and barcode included. Not satisfied? Then we cancel right away and you get your money back. Make an appointment via WhatsApp.

Not genuine or not sealed after all? Everything back
If the box turns out not to be original or not factory sealed, you get the full amount back, including shipping costs. You don't have to arrange the return yourself: we have the box picked up from you. Report it as soon as possible, preferably within 7 days, with photos, plus a video if you have one.
How we assess a report
Send photos of the wrap, the seams and the bottom with the JAN barcode, plus a video if you have one. We compare them with the photos we took of your box on arrival and at shipping, under its stock number. A video isn't required; it only helps us handle your report faster.
If the box turns out not to be original or not factory sealed, we refund the full amount, including shipping costs, and have the box picked up from you. Report it as soon as possible, preferably within 7 days of receipt. Your statutory rights always apply.

Questions about the guarantee
What exactly is the Kaikan Seal Guarantee?
A promise in one sentence: truly sealed, or your money back. Every box is official Pokémon TCG, Japanese edition, factory sealed, from our own import and checked on arrival. If a box is demonstrably not genuine or not factory sealed, you get the full amount back, including shipping costs, and I'll have the box picked up from you. The guarantor is Kaikan Cards, Kuiperstraat 7, 5835 AS Beugen (the Netherlands); the guarantee applies in every country we ship to, with no end date.
How do I know my box was really checked?
The shipping confirmation includes the photos of your copy: wrap, seams and JAN barcode. Complete cases ship directly from the supplier, so there are no photos of those in advance; the guarantee applies to them in full. How to check a box yourself, you can read on Authenticity and origin.
What do I do if I have doubts about my box?
Don't open the box any further and send photos of the wrap, the seams and the bottom via email or WhatsApp, with your order number. If you have a video, send it along; it isn't required. You usually get an answer within 1 business day.
Do I have to film my unboxing?
You don't have to, but we recommend it for boxes and cases: film without interruption, starting from the closed shipping carton. With a video, we usually handle a report within 1 business day. Without a video, we still assess your report, based on your photos and our own photos of your box. Your statutory rights always apply, even without a video.
Can I pick up the box and look at it first?
Yes. Pickup in Beugen is free and by appointment. You inspect the box on the spot. Not satisfied? Then we cancel right away and you get your money back. Make an appointment via WhatsApp.
Does the guarantee also apply to packs, cases and bundles?
Yes, for everything sold factory sealed: boxes, cases, single booster packs and bundles. Complete cases ship directly from the supplier to you; the guarantee applies to them in full too. Single packs come from factory sealed boxes that we open ourselves; the packs always stay closed.
Is this different from my statutory rights?
It comes on top of them and takes nothing away. You keep your 14-day right of withdrawal and the statutory warranty. The Seal Guarantee makes concrete what you can expect from a sealed box from Kaikan and what happens if something isn't right. See the return policy and warranty and conformity.
